The importance of environmental sustainability

Ever since our company was founded, we have had the ecological aspect and environmental sustainability at heart. We think we can do a lot to protect our territory, and we commit ourselves on a daily basis to improving the technologies and processes that help us in this mission.

5000 years

This is the time it takes to dispose of a non-recycled plastic bottle properly. At the moment, Switzerland consumes three times more plastic than other European countries but recycles 30% less.

1000 years

The time it takes for glass to be disposed of. In Switzerland, over 90% of glass packages sold are destined for recycling: we are therefore one of the leaders in Europe for collecting used glass.

100 years

The time required for decomposition of an aluminium can. Aluminium is a 100% recyclable material, and Switzerland is one of the countries that recycle the largest amount.

700 kilograms

This is the annual per capita amount of waste produced in Switzerland. According to the European Environment Agency and the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), it is one of the highest rates in the world.
