"From glass to glass", this is how advantageous it is to recycle glass: from each bottle of recycled glass it is possible to produce another of the same quality, consuming much less energy than the amount that was required to produce a glass bottle from scratch through the fusion of the elements that compose it. In addition to this, part of the recycled glass is used to produce foam glass, a material used in construction.
